Sterling & Associates conducts noise surveys and performs personal noise dosimetry at a variety of settings including manufacturing operations & maintenance, construction, facility/equipment installations, and community noise.

Noise surveys are used to determine if equipment and/or operations produce noise above the OSHA Action Level, TLV, or corporate-derived noise criteria.

Noise dosimetry measures an employee’s personal time-weighted average of noise exposure during his/her workshift.

Noise survey and personal dosimetry results also assist in identifying those employees or operations that must participate or be incorporated into a Hearing Conservation Program.
